Ganderbal 31 Dec【KNZ】:Ganderbal police on Sunday claimed to have arrested four gamblers while gambling on playing Cards (Mongpati) and seized stake money of Rs 24500 from the gambling spot.
According to police officals, police station safapora received a phone call related to gambling of safapora, Police party of Police Station safapora under the supervision of SHO Police Station Safapora raided gambling spot and arrested four gamblers identified as as Javaid Ahmad Shah S/O: Abdul Ahad Shah R/O: Seer Hamdan Anantnag presently resident of Gratabal Safapora,Nisar Ahmad Kutchay S/O:Abdul Ahad Kutchay R/O: Safapora ,Abdul Qayoom Shah S/O: Ghulam Mohammad Shah R/O: Gratabal Safapora, Mohammad Shafi Sofi S/O: Noor ud Din Sofi R/O: Gratabal Safapora police spokesman said.
He said that stake money of Rs 24500 and gambling cards were seized from the gambling site.
A case FIR number 43/2017 under section 13 Gambling Act was registered and investigation was taken up.
