Aalaw-2 finals, the mega event of Talent Hunt Initiative in North Kasmir, were held today on 30/12/2017,at SRM Welkin Educational Trust Sopore. Nearly fifty finalists in various catagories rocked the stage for four long hours and mesmerised the jam packed hall of 800 invited guest students. The main catagories in which tough competition was witnessed included singing, dancing, poetry recitation, mimicry, sketch making, photography, and painting. This was really a treat to watch to the curious audiance and a promise in making to showcase how great the talent the youngerters of this part of the world possess but waiting a vent. This was a courageous initiative by a group of local youth under the dynamic leadership of Furqan Jaanwari.
Dr Rafiq Masoodi, formar ADG Doordarshan, was the chief Guest of the event. The other honourable guests who shared the first row with the patron of SRM Welkin Educational Trust, Haji Anayat Ul Allah, and the chairperson Bisma Anayat, included Shahnaz Rasheed, Yousuf Sameem, G. M. Tawheedi, Hassan Azhar, Tariq Ahmad Tariq, Shahzad Manzoor, and Junaid Ahmad. The performances were evaluated by Shafi Soporie, Sadaf Anayat, and Ishfaq Wani. The event was solely moderated by Sahil Muzzafar.
During the presentation cermony of prize distribution in position holders, the dias was shared by Dr Rafeeq Masoodi, Haji Anayat ul allah, Mtr Bisma Anayat, and Shahnaz Rasheed.
The event ended with the vote of thanks presented by Bisma Anayat, and Aalaw-2 organisers.
