Shopian: A Cordon and Search Operation is underway in Watho village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Locals informed that search operation was launched after government forces received inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Locals added that door-to-door search operation is being conducted.
If sources are to be believed at least two militants are trapped in the area, however, a police official said that no contact with militants has been established so far.
Meanwhile, a day after gunfight at Pehlipora Larnoo, the area has been again brought under siege. Reports said that a search operation is underway there.
