A team of National Investigation Agency arrived in Kashmir on Wednesday and completed documentation for taking custody of four persons, accused of helping Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant Naveed Jatt alias Abu Hanzalla escape from SMHS hospital.

Naveed was arrested in 2014 from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district. He escaped from the police custody on February 6, 2018, after militants attacked the police party accompanying him to the hospital, where he was brought for medical check-up from Central Jail, Srinagar.
