Ishfaq felicitates winning team ,released 3 lacs from CDF for upgradation of sports field

Ganderbal 24 April :The district League Football Tournament being organized by Football Association came to an end where FC Batwina beat FC Dab to lift the trophy here today.
The district League Football Tournament was played at Sindbal ground in which 16 teams participated and exposed their Football talent.
The final match of the league was played between FC Batwina and FC Dab in which FC Batwina beat FC Dab by 3 goals to 1.
FC Batwina dominated the proceedings, have maximum ball possession during the match. They took the lead in the early stage after midfielder put the ball into the net that was later doubled . FC Dab made several moves from both flank , but failed and score 1 goal only.
MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar felicitated the winners of the League’ football tourney.
On the occasion, Ishfaq congratulated the winning team and said the winning team has shown the dedication and team spirit by winning the prestigious crown of the tournament and also prayed for their future success in their sports career. The MLA noted that more such events should be organized for involvement of the more youth in sports field.
“I am Optimistic such events will be hosted in future as well,” Ishfaq added.
MLA Ganderbal released Rs 3 lacs from his CDF for the upgradation of sports field.
Large gathering of locals spectators, sports lovers and senior citizens was also present during the occasion.
