Srinagar :Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday issued a formal order for closure of coaching centres across Kashmir for 90 days. However, the order will be reviewed after a period of 15 days.
“The authorization to conduct private academic tuition by private registered tuition centres is suspended for a period of 90 days,” reads the order issued by GN Itoo director school education Kashmir.
The order is however not applicable to the centres providing professional coaching to the students who have passed class 12th exams.
The centres which have come in the ambit of the order have been asked to provide a class-wise population of students and fee charged from them along with details of authority and norms under which the fee has been fixed. They will have to submit details of faculty engaged along with their salary details, details of infrastructure, the location of the centre within 10 days for a “proper feedback for deciding a future course of action.”
