PULWAMA, AUGUST 28: Rural Development Department Pulwama today organized an awareness Programme at DC office Complex Pulwama to spread awareness regarding the Swachh Sarvekshan Grameen 2018, and its android app launched by Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
District Development Commissioner Ghulam Mohammad Dar was chief guest on the occasion.
The Programme was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development Pulwama, Principals and Headmasters of various education institutes, Incharge Chief Education officer, Zonal Education officers, Block Development Officers and other concerned officials.
During Programme comprehensive information were provided to the participants about the APP which aims to engage citizens and solicit their feedback for improving the program Swachh Sarvekshan Grameen 2018.
While speaking on the occasion, DDC said that the objective of Swachh Sarvekshan Grameen 2018 app is to take feedback from citizens on SBM related issues through direct interaction as well as online especially from rural community. He urged all stake holders to work together and create awareness among all sections of the society towards quantitative and qualitative sanitation parameters to achieve best rank in this mission.
