Ganderbal,03 Oct(KNZ):The employees appointed under Prime Minister’s package in Kashmir Valley today are up in arms against authorities for failing to provide them adequate accommodation.
The employees are currently placed at Tulmulla area of Ganderbal District.
The employees said that in case their demands will not be addressed within stipulated time, then they will be left with no option but to come on roads to protest for their demands.
Number of employees mostly living at Mata Khir Bawani temple accommodations in District district up in arms in support of their demands which included providing of accommodation to those package employees who are living in Mata Khir Bawani temple.
They accused Rehabilitation department of being towards them which according to them had been playing with the emotions of package employees since their appointment in Valley.
The employees while taking to Kashmir News Zone-KNZ said that the Government has brought them in Valley with an assurance to provide them all facilitates along with a job but what they were left dejected.
They said it seems that trusting concerned authorities was a big blunder as they have been left in the lurch and pushed in big trouble.
“The concerned department of relief and rehabilitation is not serious to mitigate the sufferings of PM package employees.
Despite our repeated pleas to authorities for fulfilling our genuine demands we only are getting assurances and false promises.They are face-lifting quarters to divert the real concern of employees.
Nischal Bhan, one of the employee said that they have brought number of concerns in the domain of state and centre governments in past for redressal but it seems all in vain.
Another employee Sajad Raina also lemanted over poor accommodation.
Prominent among others present during the protest were Nischal Bhan,Sajan Raina,Pradeep kisroo,Anil Raina,Monika Dhar,Meenu Koul,Sunil bhat,Kuldeep Raina.(KNZ)
