Jammu & Kashmir: Death toll mounts to 20 in Ramban road accident, 17 others injured

Srinagar: The death toll in the Ramban road accident has mounted to 20 while 17 others have suffered injuries. The accident took place after the driver of an overcrowded mini bus lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into a 200-feet deep gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Saturday, police said.

The accident took place at Kela Mod in Ramban.

“The injured passengers have been airlifted to Jammu city for treatment at the Government Medical College Hospital,” the police said
