Srinagar, November 04: Second militant body was recovered today morning after a gunfight broke out between militants and goverment forces in Khudpora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that after gunfight was over yesterday and only one dead body was recovered along with one AK-47 rifle. But the forces continued searches and on Sunday morning second militant body was recovered.
A Senior Police official told GNS that that second militant has been recovered along with an pistol today morning after searches continued throughout night.
The officer further said that we had input about presence of two militants and that’s why searches continued for second militant. However identified of both the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
The officer said that searches have completed and operation is over.(GNS)
