Baramulla, Nov 8, Saleem CNS: Jammu Kashmir Board of School Education authorities have miserably failed to implement government order to make JK Bose Sub office functional at Pattan town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.

Pertinently, Jammu Kashmir Government had issued a formal order vide number Edu /Bose/ 38/2018 Dated 11-06-2018 to set up JK Bose Sub office at Pattan. Secretary J&K Board of School Education was directed to open JK Bose sub office at Pattan even Tehsilsar Pattan and Chief Education Officer Baramulla were asked to arrange accommodation for the same.

Locals celebrated and hailed the role of government when the order came in public domain. They were expecting the order will be implemented in letter and spirit, however, even after the expiry of five months; the sub-office has not been made functional. “Neither Secretary BOSE has identified any place or deputed any staff. It was mere a lip service while the irony is that authorizes are in slumber and nobody is taking up the issue with Secretary Board of School Education,” said a delegation from Pattan town to news agency CNS.

Chief Education officer Baramulla Abdul Ahad while holding BOSE responsible for the delay told CNS that Board authorities are yet to give a green signal to us and that is why they are unable to set up the sub office in Pattan. (CNS)
