Ganderbal, November 12, 2018:- District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla congratulated newly elected President and Vice-President of Municipal Council Ganderbal.
In his message, the DDC asked them to meet the expectations of people and consider the welfare and interest of the town as a whole to take developmental scenario to new heights in the town.
DDC hoped that all the councilors will work as a team and mitigate the common issues faced by the people at ground level.
Advocate Altaf Ahmed Lone who had contested as an independent candidate for municipal committee Ganderbal has been elected as President of the committee and Sajad Ahmed Mir of Congress has been elected as Vice-president.
Earlier, election process for President and Vice-President held in town hall Ganderbal on 09-11-2018 under the supervision of ADDC Ganderbal and EO Municipality.
