Sumbal: In continuation of its efforts to strengthen the police public relations and to bring people nearer to the police a public meet was held at Police station Sumbal on Tuesday.
SDPO Sumbal Saqib Ghani presided over the meet while as SHO Sumbal Hussain Ahmad was also present on the occasion. Many elected ward members of Sumbal Municipality Town and respected citizens of the area participated in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, SHO Sumbal, Hussain Ahmad said that such meetings are conducted to solicit the suggestion and support for better policing and would be conducted in the future as well.
Referring to the grievances highlighted by the participants, SDPO Sumbal Saqib Ghani said that these grievances and suggestions will be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal of the raised grievances.
He also added that police will provide all possible support in making this zone a crime least area. Later on the occasion participants assured that they will be providing for full cooperation in for the betterment and well being of the Sumbal Sonawari.
