Srinagar : On 6th March, 2019, Planning Section of School education Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a Notification for Upgradation of Middle School and High Schools and subsequent Creation of various vacancies in these upgraded Schools.
As per the Offiical Order
1) 84 High Schools are upgraded to Higher Secondary Schools
2) 106 Middle Schools are upgraded to High Schools.
3) Creation of 4016 Posts in School Education Department, which Includes
1694 Posts at High School Level
2322 Posts at Higher Secondary School Level.
(II) Post Wise and Division Wise Break up of 4000 Vacancies in Education Department
Posts Under Direct Recruitment Quota
As you can see , a Total of 4000+ Posts have been approved by the School Eductaion Department, However, all of these posts are No under Direct Quota, Which means Bulk of the posts are for Promotion Quoate.

1) Lecturer : 946 Posts
2) Teachers: 242 Posts
3) Lab Assistant: 258 Posts
4) Accounts Assistants: 86 Posts
5) Jr. Assistant: 121 Posts
