Ganderbal, February 19:- continuing its endeavor of inspection of healthcare facilities in the health centers of the district, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, today visited several Primary Health Centers of the district and took stock of healthcare facilities being provided to patients in these health centers.
On the occasion, the ADC visited PHC Shuhama, NTPHC Nunnar, PHC Manigam, PHC Lar and Mini-Maternity Centre Watlar.
The ADC inspected various wards including OPD, emergency, vaccine and injection section, dental section, Gynae section, in these health centers, besides met various patients and attendants and enquired about healthcare facilities being provided to them. He also took on spot stock of the availability of medicines, vaccines, and other drug items for the patients.
The administration at these health institutions briefed the ADC about the availability of medicines, vaccines and healthcare facilities being provided to the patients.
During the visit, the ADC also checked the attendance of the staff and laid emphasis on punctuality and implementation of duty roaster both doctors and para-medical staff in letter and spirit so that local people do not suffer.
He also exhorted for ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation in and around the premises of all health centers to provide better health services to the locals of the district.
Later, ADC also visited Tehsil and BDO Office Lar where he took stock of functioning besides checked the attendance of the employees working there.
