Baramulla:Prime Minister’s Ujwala Gas Scandal was busted by Joint Team of Civil & Police administration in Sub divison Pattan of north Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
As per reports after receiving information of illegal gas related activities
a joint team of SDPO Pattan Zaffar Mehdi,Tehsildar Singhpora Nisar Ahmad and DO Police Post Mirgund Mohammad Ashraf raided few locations of Mirgund and during search they recovered, 62 Gas Cylinders, 74 Gas Stoves, 42 Gas Regulators and 22 Gas Pipes.
SDM Pattan Syed Naseer along with SDPO Pattan Zafar Mehdi, Tehsildar Singpora Nisar Awam, Naib Tehsildar Singpora Ghulam Mustafa lone and D.O Mirgund Mohmmad Ashraf While addressing a Press Conference said that after receiving complaints from people Civil & Police administration have Busted a Scam of Ujwala Gas Scam in which Large No of Ujwala Gas Cylinders along with Stoves were Recovered from different Gas Dealer’s at Gundibrahim Village of Pattan town.
Its pertinent to mention that last week people belonging to below poverty line Protests against Gas Agencies in pattan town regarding issuing fake PM Ujwala Yojna gas connections and crediting subsidies to their loved ones by sideling the deserving beneficiaries belonging to below the poverty line families and during the protest SDM Pattan assures them strict action will be taken against the gas agencies or persons who are involved in the it.
Meanwhile an FIR has been registered in Police Station Pattan and further investigation has been taken up in this regard.
