Ganderbal 08 June : Ganderbal police on Monday claimed to have arrested four gamblers and seized stake money of Rs 13,460 from the gambling spot.
A police party from Police station Lar raided a gambling site at Watlar following an input about gambling activities and apprehended four gamblers identified as Muzaffar Ahmed Danga and Mohammed Ayoub Bhat both residents of Tulmulla, Ishtiaq Ahmed Mir and Fayaz Ahmed Beigh both residents of Watlar,police spokesman said.
He said that stake money of Rs 13,460 and gambling cards were seized from the gambling site.
A case FIR number 47/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Lar and investigation was taken up.
General public has appladed this police action.
