Ganderbal:Continuing its zero tolerance mode against the evil of drugs, Ganderbal Police arrested yet another drug peddler during a snap naka.
Details reveal that a chance naka party from Police Station Kangan, headed by Station House Officer Kangan INSP Aftab Ahmad, under the close supervision of Shri Yasir Qadri-JKPS, SDPO Dy SP Ganderbal and under the patronage of Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal- JKPS, SSP District Ganderbal, while laying snap nakas at various junctions at Kangan, today apprehended one suspected person, namely Khalil Ahmad Baniya S/O M. Yousuf Bania R/O Laman Wangath, during snap naka at SheikhBagh. On search of the said suspect, as per legal provisions, 90 gms of charas recovered from his possession.
In this regard a case has been registered in Police Station Kangan and investigation taken up. People hailed the action of Ganderbal Police.KNZ
