DC Bandipora distributes TT Tables among ZPEOs

Bandipora, November 02: The refresher course for physical education teachers concluded in Bandipora on Sunday.
District Development Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad was the chief guest at the concluding cermony.
Speaking on the occassion DC Bandipora highlighted the importance of games and urged the Physical Education teachers to work with dedication in their respective schools and involve students in extra curricular activites for the overall development of the children.
He appreciated District Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) for condcuting refreshers course for the teachers that will help in capacity building of the human resource.
Dr owais also distributed Table Tenis Tables among Zonal Physical Education Officers of the District for their respective Schools. Certifcates were also distributed among all trainees and RPs.
Earlier DYSSO Bandipora Mr.Gh.Qadir Bhat welcomed the chief guest and briefed him about the activities taken up by the department during the current year.
Colourful programmes like including art Demo, short skit and mass PET exercise were displayed. A separate song with dance by the trainees of zone Gurez added charm to the concluding function and enthralled audience. Besides, two trainees-male and female shared their views regarding the programme and Thanked the worthy the district administration for initiating this programme.
