Ganderbal 09 Feb: BJP General Secretary Ganderbal Aabid Hussain has offered gratitude to SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal for receiving Police Medal for Meritorious Service by President of India
Aabid Hussain met with SSP Ganderbal at his office and appreciated his work for the community in the district.
The award shows the exemplary courage and dedication shown by SSP Ganderbal in different fields.
Aabid Hussain also wished them more success and recognition in future.
SSP Ganderbal Khalil Poswal recieved the award last month.
The President’s Police Medal is a decoration awarded to members of law enforcement in India. Established on 1 March 1951, the medal was originally called the President’s Police and Fire Service Medal.
The medal is awarded for either gallantry or distinguished service, with the gallantry version of the medal being accorded a higher precedence.
