Qazigund, Mar 01: A teenage girl hanged herself to death in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday evening.

Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 17-year-old girl (name withheld) hanged herself on Monday evening at her home in Qazigund village following which she was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

“It seems the girl has committed suicide. We have started an investigation to ascertain the actual cause of her death,” official said—(KNO)
