Kulgam 24Aug:- The Jammu and Kashmir police said to have recovered a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the accused person involved in the commission of crime within one hour.
Police Station Kulgam received a written complaint for assistance from a complainant stating that his minor daughter (name withheld) was kidnapped by one person namely Muntazir Ahmad Shakhsaz, a resident of Chawalgam.
Taking cognizance of the incident, a Case under FIR No. 197/2021 has been registered at Police Station Kulgam and investigation was initiated in the instant manner.
After complaint was received in Police Station Kulgam, a team led by SHO Kulgam Insp Jazib Mohammad under the supervision of DySP HQR Kulgam Shri Ghulam Muhamad Bhat-JKPS was constituted accordingly to rescue the kidnapped girl and to nab the kidnapper, by using all available means investigating team rescued the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused within one hour.
After fulfilling all medico legal formalities the girl was handed over to her legal heirs. Further investigation of the case is going on.
