Srinagar, Aug 27 (GNS): Fencing Association of India (FAI) has appointed former National player and Advocate Supriya Chouhan as member of Ad-hoc Committee, J&K Amateur Fencing Association.
It has been decided to grant extension to Ad-hoc Committee, J&K Amateur Fencing Association comprising Rashid Ahmed Choudhary as Convener, Shotu Lal Sharma- Member l/c, Supriya Chouhan- Member, Maninder Pal Singh- Member and Harpreet Singh- Member, reads a statement issued by Secretary General, Fencing Association of India, Rajeev Mehta to GNS.
“Ad-hoc Committee is doing good job particularly processing the registration of district bodies in Union Territory of J&K”, the statement reads.
The FAI also acceded to the request of Ad-hoc committee for extending the term by 6 months to complete the process of registration of District Fencing Associations and accordingly, extension has been granted till March 31″,2022, it reads.
The copy of the communication has also been forwarded to the President, Fencing Association of India, J&K Sports Council and all members of Ad-hoc Committee, UT of J&K, it concludes. (GNS)
