Bandipora police continuing its efforts to root out the menace of drugs today launched an intensified mass destruction drive of Bhung and other narcotic cultivations in Hakbara Hajin and other adjoining areas.
Police party of P/S Hajin led by SHO PS Hajin Inspector Zahoor Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO Hajin Shri Sajad Ahmad -JKPS destroyed Wild Bhung cultivation in Hakbara area of Hajin and continued in near by villages also.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood.Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt as per law.
