Bandipora: 11 September 2021, Bandipora police acting against illegal timber smuggling, during intervening night 20/11 September 2021, seized illicit forest timber in Aloosa.
Acting on a specific information about timber smuggling in Aloosa , a police party of Police Post Aloosa led by DO Police Post Aloosa SI Shakeel Ahmad under the supervision of DYSP HQRS Bandipora Shri Mohammad Idrees-JKPS raided the particular spot and recovered large quantity of illicit forest timber from village Aloosa, one accused namely Adil Majeed Ganie R/o Ganie Mohalla Alooosa arrested on spot.
In this regard Case FIR No. 152/2021 under relevant sections of IPC & Forest Act has been registered in PS Bandipora. Investigation of the case is going on.
