Say Cabs stopped in north, south Kashmir districts; No such mandatory sticker from traffic dept: ADGP Traffic; Will investigate who is doing it: Div Com Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 09 (KNO): Drivers of passenger vehicles from Lalchowk area alleged that unknown people claiming to be from traffic wing of police are taking money from cab drivers by pasting the sticker “Save the Girl Children” on the name traffic department .
The drivers allege that they are getting the receipt without a stamp from any department.
Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News observer (KNO) drivers said that people claiming to be traffic cops stop their vehicles and ask them to pay Rs 200 for displaying a sticker that says “Save the Girl Children.”
“We are baffled after getting a receipt that showed the name of a traffic safety organisation,” they said.
ADGP Traffic T.Namgyal told KNO that there is no such mandatory sticker from the traffic department. Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole said that he will order an inquiry to investigate who is behind the act. “Those found guilty, will be punished,” he said—(KNO)
