Ganderbal 21 Dec : The Construction of road near PHC Lar under R&B department has come under scanner after residents alleged that heavy boulder and substandard material is being used in the work.

Sources said that the contractors are using heavy boulder and substandard material in construction of road in the area.

"The concerned contractors are using heavy boulder and sub standard material. These contractors openly violate rules by using unapproved material. We appeal the concerned departments to take action against the unscrupulous contractors," they said

Sources also said no employee visit present site for inspection

Experts said that using such kind of material is not feasible for the construction of the protection wall.

They appealed higher authorities to look into the matter

When Contacted Executive Engineer R&B Zaffar Qureshi he said I will look into the matter,if I found any violation strict action will be taken.
