Anantnag: The lack of toilet facilities irks picnic visitors in two famous tourist places here in south Kashmir area of Anantnag District.
In pahalgam levander park, the park lacks toilet facilities leaving visitors including picnic school students in lurch, talking to Arising state a student on picnic said that it’s really very sad situation here ,there are no toilet facilities in the lavender park ,it becomes very inconvenient especially for women folk .
Similar Complaints also received from kokernag Botanical garden, the park also lacks toilet facility.
These Parks and gardens are crowded these days however , lack of toilet facility at these places is a matter of concern.
Talking to Arising state CEO PDA Masrat Hashim said ,”in levender park pahalgam there are two units of bathroom facilities ,but these bathrooms are far from the park, he said. Added that we have made proposal for new ten bathrooms to construct in these parks ,he said.
However, Arising state tried to contact the CEO Kokernag Mohd Altaf but his number was on out of reach mode.
