Srinagar, April 30 (KB): Srinagar Police on Sunday said they have successfully arrested three car lifters who were involved in stealing seven cars over the last eight months from Hazratbal Dargah.
Sharing details on Microblogging Twitter site, Srinagar police as per Kashmir Bulletin–(KB), said the arrested individuals have been identified as Aijaz Ahmad Dar of Ganderbal, Rameez Ahmad Ganie of Sopore, and Shabir Ahmad Kanna of Sopore.
“According to the police, the thieves dismantled the stolen vehicles into pieces. Seven FIRs had already been lodged at Nigeen PS, and recoveries were made.”
“3 Car lifters arrested namely : 1) Aijaz Ahmad Dar of Ganderbal. 2) Rameez Ahmad Ganie of Sopore. 3) Shabir Ahmad Kanna of Sopore. They had stolen 7 cars in last 8 months from Hazratbal Dargah & then dismantle them into pieces. 7 FIRs already done at Nigeen PS, Recoveries made. Srinagar Police,” Srinagar police tweeted.
