GANDERBAL, MAY 09: The Kisan Sampark Abhiyan (Farmers Orientation) under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) continued at the three venues across three blocks of district Ganderbal
The HADP is aimed at pushing the agriculture and allied sectors to a new trajectory of growth with economy, ecology and equity as its guiding pillars.
The programme was held at three venues across the district at Barsoo, Arhama A and Fraw Haknar B.
The participating farmers were made aware about the programmes under the HADP by means of Audio visual aids, which shall be implemented in the coming five years.
Lectures regarding the programmes and schemes were delivered by the team of Resource Persons from agriculture and allied departments.
The event witnessed a huge participation of farmers’ mostly unemployed youth at each venue and more than 200 farmers were registered for the baseline survey by the Skill gap study resource persons.
Pamphlets containing information of all the schemes and projects under the HADP were distributed among the participating farmers.
