Kishtwar 4 Sep (KNZ):In anticipation of the forthcoming Janmashtami celebrations of 2023, SSP Kishtwar, Shri Khalil Poswal-JKPS, presided over a high-level security review meeting held at the Conference Hall of DPO Kishtwar.
The meeting was attended by distinguished figures, including CO CRPF 52 Bn Sh. Parma Shivang , CO CISF D Jitendra Babu, Addl SP Kishtwar Sh. Rajinder Singh, Army officers of 11/17/26RR, SDPOs, DySP CID, IB, & various other officers.
At the commencement of the meeting, SSP Kishtwar, Mr. Poswal-JKPS, underscored the paramount importance of Janmashtami and issued a stern directive to the attending officers: to maintain the highest level of vigilance and ensure that no opportunities are provided for any anti-national elements to disrupt the district’s peaceful atmosphere.
Emphasizing the need to uphold peace, law, and order within the district during the Janmashtami celebrations, he urged the officers to take decisive action against any individuals involved in anti-national activities and to maintain continuous surveillance in areas of concern.
SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Poswal-JKPS, further directed the officers to heighten their vigilance, reinforce nakas/checkpoints, and actively gather actionable intelligence to thwart any malicious intentions of anti-national elements. Additionally, he instructed the officers to take the lead in conducting domination/patrolling and speculative/specific CASOs (Cordon and Search Operations) in vulnerable areas and pockets.
A key focal point of the meeting was the adoption of a public-centric approach. All officers were instructed to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability across various policing fronts.
