Ganderbal:In continuation to promote the Agnipath Scheme and to motivate the youths to join the armed forces , a lecture on Agnipath scheme was organised by ARO team and Wussan Battalion with an eye toward achieving a large number of selection within the Kangan sub-division. Colonel Anshul Sharma from ARO Srinagar conducted the lecture which received an overwhelming response by the aspirants.
The lecture was attended by more than 200 boys and girls. The team from ARO Srinagar educated about the Agnipath scheme and its benefits including the eligibility criteria, the syllabus and important nuances related to the recruitment. Q&A session was also conducted to address all the queries of the youth.
The youths praised the initiative undertaken by the army and were highly motivated by the men in uniform. The overwhelming response by the youth was testament to the warmth and respect for the armed forces by the young generation.
