Srinagar, Mar 11, KDC: A nine-year-old girl was mauled to death by a leopard in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Dot Com said that a leopard attacked one Rabiya Nisar (9), a resident of Samsan area of Khansahib near his residence.
They said that the minor girl was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
The officials of wildlife and other concerned departments have taken cognizance of the incident and a man haunt will be launched to trace the leopard.
