A Haji from Banihal area of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir died in a tragic road accident in the holy city of Medina on Wednesday.
Reports said that Shamas din Wani (Cover number JKF-13844-2-0) of Bankoot, Banihal was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Masjid Nabvi early today morning.
He was shifted to Ansar Hospital Medina where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Thousands of Hajis from the state have already reached the holy cities of Mecca and Medina for the annual pilgrimage.
