Srinagar, Apr 10 (KS): Anti corruption Bureau UT of Jammu and Kashmir today Conducted raids at ARTO office Sopore and arrested three officials on spot involved in Case related to demanding and accepting bribe from public visiting the ARTO office Sopore for obtaining various documents I.e DL, permit, NOC, registeration of vehicles etc
An official told Kashmir Scroll that there were frequent complaints against these officials that in connivance with various touts they were indulging in corrupt practices and taking bribe from various people visiting ARTO office Sopore.
It has been learnt that many senior officers were also involved in the case and more arrest are expected in comming days, he said.
The arrested officials are Ajaz Ahmad Mir, Farooq Ahmad Wagay and Mohd Ashraf Dar
