Bandipora, March 09:
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Mir on Monday evening made a surprise visit to District Hospital Bandipora to check the attendance of Medical and paramedic staff besides taking stock of medical facilities being provided to the patients.
ADC visited different sections and wards of the hospital including OPD, Emergency, General ward, gyne section and checked the attendance of the staff. All the staff of the hospital assigned night duties were present as per the rooster. Interacting with the patients, the ADC enquired about the availability of medicines and other facilities in the hospital and directed the hospital administration to take necessary measures for improving the sanitation and patient care services at the hospital.
On the occasion, patients and attendants interacted with the additional deputy commissioner and informed him about the problems being faced by them with regard to basic amenities.
