Srinagar, Mar 07: Authorities on Thursday evening placed All Parties Hurriyat Conference & Awami Action Committee Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest at his Nigeen residence ahead of Joint Resistance Leadership call for protest, shutdown against the draconian PSA slapping on pro freedom leadership, arrest of activists across the state & ban on Jamat I Islami.
“Heavy contingent of police arrived at Mirwaiz Manzil Nigeen & placed Mirwaiz sb under house arrest”, said spokesman.
