Ganderbal 16 Oct【KNZ】:In the ongoing Womans Cricket Championship Knockout T20 2017 organised by Jammu and Kashmir woman’s Cricket association in collaboration with 5RR,the final of the said tournament was played between District Anantnag and District Srinagar at Sainik School Manasbal Cricket Ground in Ganderbal District of central kashmir.
District Anantnag beat district Srinagar and lift the champions trophy, the match was decided in Super over after both teams could manage to score 101 runs during the match In Super over, Srinagar could only score 6 runs which was easily chased by the Anantnag.
The championship was organised to promote the sports culture, providing opportunity to the youth to show their talent, to channelize youth energy CO 5RR Shri Mukund Gururaj Ara and MLA Ganderbal was the Chief Guest while as Principal Govt college of physical Education,Dr Harjeet Singh the guest of honour on the occasion .
While as President JKWCA Ms Gulshan Ara,SSP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone, Dysp Ganderbal Dr.Ramiz and SHO Safapora Mr Mudasir and respectable citizens of the area were present during final ceremony .
