Srinagar, August 19: Shri Anayat Ali Choudhary-IPS today assumed charge as Senior Superintendent of Police district Shopian.
On his arrival, the incumbent officer was warmly received by senior Police officers of the district and guard of honour was also presented at District Police Headquarters Shopian. The outgoing SSP Ms Tanushree-IPS handed over the Baton to the incumbent officer in a brief but impressive function.
On assuming the charge, the incumbent officer held introductory meeting with senior police officers of the district and impressed upon officers to work with dedication and enthusiasm to mitigate problems faced by the people of Shopian.
He also stressed the need for a team work and has directed officers to have their doors open for the general public.
