Srinagar, 28 July,: In yet another shocking incident a pregent lady died of alleged medical negligence in Anantanag Maternity and Child care hospital on Tuesday morning.
Sources told news agency KDC, soon after the news about the death of pregent lady due to alleged medical negligence spread in the area , agitating relatives of the said lady attacked the hospital and vandalised hospital property there.
Relatives of the deceased pregent lady told KDC that doctors posted at the hospital didn’t treat well the lady and left her on god’s mercy. The Doctor Who was on duty also refused to treat the pregnant lady after she suddenly started developing pain.
“Not only that, they also deceived us by saying she is alright ,there is nothing to worry, she is getting better and all this, but suddenly she passed away in morning.It is complete negligence on the part of doctors posted at this hospital, I am not in a hope of action against these doctors as we have witnessed many incidents in the past too”, relatives added.
The deceased lady was identified as Rozy Jan, resident of Gadhanzpora in Bijbehara area of Islamabad in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district was admitted to the hospital with labour pain a couple of days ago, and she delivered inside the hospital in Sherbagh.(KDC)
