Ganderbal 20 Aug【KNZ】:Security forces on Monday busted a militant hideout in Akhal area of Ganderbal district in Kashmir, seizing a cache of arms and ammunition.
“Army along with Special Oprational Group SOG in Kangan Ganderbal have busted a terrorist hideout in Akhal unearthing a cache of warlike stores,” an official said.
Based on intelligence inputs, security forces launched a search operation in Chokinar Akhal forest area of Kangan in Ganderbal district in the wee hours of Monday morning,” said an official.
He said that a hideout under a rock was busted during the operation.
“Arms and ammunition, including one AK-56 rifle, 02 magazines and 44 rounds were recovered,” said the official.
