Ganderbal 14 June (KNZ):A volleyball tournament organized by 24 RR Gutlibagh Army Camp concluded today in Gutlibagh area of Ganderbal district.
An Army official said the Volleyball tournament is organized with an aim to establish connection and inculcate sportsmanship spirit in the youth and direct them towards constructive activities so as to achieve greater bonhomie, cooperation and trust building amongst locals.
“Twelve teams from Ganderbal District are participating in the tournament.
Final match was played between the teams of Gutlibagh Warriors and Gutlibagh Tigers wherein Gutlibagh Tigers won the final match after a tough competition,” he said.
On this occasion besides a large number of youths, senior officers including commanding Officer 24 RR Shikar Chuterwadi, panchs,Sarpanchs are also present. The winner team was given an award of Rs 5000 and runners up Rs 3000.KNZ
