Srinagar, July 05 (KS) : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday said that they have arrested for raping a minor girl in Barzulla area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
A senior police officer told news agency Kashmir Scroll (KS) that the accused is closed relative of victim girl (Minor) and have been identified as Zaid Feriz (22) of Old Barzulla Srinagar.
In this regard Srinagar Police Tweeted, One Accused namely Zaid Feroz of old barzulla, Srinagar aged 22 years arrested for raping a 12 year old child (name withheld). The accused is close relative of victim girl child.
FIR no 56/2023 under sections 5, 6 of POCSO act registered in Sadar PS & investigation started. (KS)
