Bandipora:ARTO Bandipora, Bilal Ahmad along with his team, today conducted checking vehicles with special focus on Affixation of HSRP plates and speed limiting devices .
Around 50 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act during the checking at Sumbal Hajin road.
The ARTO said that the traffic checking drive would continue in different parts of the district in coming days.
During the checking a fine of Rupees 21000 was recovered from offenders and documents of the some vehicles were seized . Moreover two vehicles plying without HSRP were also seized and 10 vehicles were blacklisted.
He also urged the general Public to abide by the traffic rules, fix HSRP plates on their vehicles, while the passenger vehicle operators were advised to avoid overloading and rash driving.
