J&K ICDS Supervisors union state president Abida war strongly condemn the attack on female Supervisors of ICDS project Zangir Sopore of Baramulla District during duty hours.
According to supervisor union statement Female Supervisors of ICDS project Zangir narrated their helpless situation when they were ordered by their concerned CDPO to attend constitution of village counsels in Takia Khan Mandji village of sopore
obeying orders female Supervisors attended the duty accordingly. Suddenly in afternoon few goons of village appeared on spot before public and allegedly harassed female Supervisors in order not to constitute counsels. According to union statement Female Supervisors called their CDPOs concerned and then DPO Baramulla for help but they even didn’t picked up the calls which resulted in compelling female Supervisors to attend police station. When concerned police station communicate to DPO concerned he totally denied known to him and same by concerned,CDPO statement reads
When contacted to concerned CDPO she said they have no information about this incident
DPO Baramulla said he had still not received any written complaint regarding this incident let they come to me (DPO) I will look into it.
Meanwhile J&K ICDS union have called strike and decided not to attend these counsels constitute onscreen untill legitimate action and inquiry will not b initiate in this matter immediately.
