Bandipora, 21 November: In a significant step to curb illegal mining activities, the District Mineral Officer (DMO) of Bandipora Irfan Rasool Mir in collaboration with the Ajas Police Post, conducted a late-night operation yesterday. As part of this crackdown, roads leading to stone quarries were blocked, and three vehicles involved in transporting illegally mined material were seized.
The DMO Bandipora expressed gratitude to DO Ajas, Sakib Ahmad, for his valuable support in the operation.
