Budgam 20 Feb【KNZ】:One day awareness cum preparedness was conducted by SDRF Budgam in DIET Beerwha.
The peoples, volunteers and other members of civil defense were imparted training in medial emergency rescue, medial first responder (MRF) and emergency evacuation using ropeways. Besides giving glimpse of modern equipment’s used in collapsed structures and fire fighting.
The people and other participants enthusiastic about the training programmed and eager to learn is that in case of any exigencythey can handle the situation before arrival of rescue team. Adll deputy commissioner has initiated this exercise which will be continue in other institutions of the valley.
Meanwhile SDRF component Budgam organized a day long awareness camp at DIET Beerwha in which peoples of the area participated. Adll Deputy commissioner delivered lecture to the participants and said we should give awareness to the community and make peoples aware about the disaster position.
Chief Warden civil defense express in his lecture, how to respond in case of earthquake and fire incidents. The demonstrations of CPR on fire fighting, earthquakes were also Organized for the peoples.
On the day long programmed people’s were aware practically what a peoples should during the fire incidents or other disaster positions.
The special guest of the day long programmed was Addl Deputy commissioner Budgam Mr Farooq Ah Dar along with Deputy controller civil defense Mr Ab Majeed, Chief Warden civil defense Mr Mohd Akber Malik Asst Div Fire and emergency service Mr Raj Kumar Raina and Tehsil headquarter Mr Ab Majeed Dar along with all revenue staff.
