Ganderbal:District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal conducted an awareness programme on Child Abuse and Sexual Voilence at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kangan today on 18th March 2019, under the Chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Wani and Secretary District Legal Serives Authority Ganderbal Mr. Iqbal Rafiq Vakil.
Chief Education officer Ganderbal Mtr. Nahida Nelofar was the chief guest of the progamme, who also describes the child abuse and sexual offence. On the occasion Retainer Lawyer Miss Imeetul Mehraj (Advocate) and Member Juvenile Justice Board “Mr. Ghulam Rasool Sheikh” spoke on the issue of child abuse and sexual abuse and preventive measures. They also briefly discussed Protection of Children on Sexual Offenders Act 2018 and held a brainstorming session with the students.
