Executive engineer R&B Ganderbal to initiate inquiry

Ganderbal 31 July【KNZ】:Residents of Bandaybagh have alleged use of substandard and inadequate meterial for construction of Protection wall along the road.The wall is being constructed by R&B department.
Locals said “concerned contractors in nexus with R&B field employees is using sub-standard material for construction of protection wall in Bandaybagh Ganderbal.”
The villagers of Bandaybagh on Monday accused the R&B Division Ganderbal of mass irregularities in the construction of a Protection wall built at Bandaybagh area of Ganderbal District.
Locals of the area alleged that the Protection wall that was constructed before 20 days at an estimated cost of Rs 3.30 lac has has starting to collapse.
They alleged that the concerned official and the contractor compromised on the quality of the material that was used in the construction.
When Kashmir News Zone Contacted Executive Engineer Syed Sajad Ahmad he said that he will start inquiry of the allegations and truth will come to light.KNZ
