Bandipora Sep 16 : Bandipora police today solved a Cattle theft case and recovered stolen Cattles worth thousands from the possession of the accused person.
Police station Bandipora acting on a complaint filed by one shepherd namely Abdul Khaliq S/o Mohmad Abdulla R/o Rajouri Kalakote stating theirin that during the intervening night of 14/15 September some unknown thieves stole his 07 Sheeps near Rangerkhan (Ajar Chowk) Bandipora.
Accordingly,Case FIR NO. 159/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered in PS Bandipora and investigation taken up.Acting promptly upon this Case police party headed by SHO PS Bandipora Insp.Ashiq Hussain under the supervision of DYSP HQRS Bandipora Shafat Mohmad-JKPS arrested one person namely Zubair Ahmad Ganie S/o Gh Mohmad Ganie R/o Nowpora Bandipora based on human and technical inputs within 24 hours.
During questioning he confessed his involvement in the commission of crime and on his disclosure 07 sheeps were also recovered. Moreover the arrested accused also confessed the involvement of his father namely Gh Ahmad Ganie S/o Ab Ahad Ganie R/o Nowpora and efforts are on to arrest him. Further investigation of the Case is going on.
